To do research, you need money. Yet, women scientists apply for funding less often and receive less funds than their male peers. In our next event (Tuesday May 14th at 11 a.m, amphitheater Duclaux), a collaboration between the Grants Office (GO) and Diversity-Equity-Inclusion group (DEI), we wish to encourage and support women to apply for grants at all career stages.

We invite you to join us for a round table around gender and grant successes. Despoina Mademtzoglou and Ksenia Bagrintseva (grant writing expert) from the Grants Office will briefly present the number of grant applications and grants success by gender at Institut Pasteur, together with some suggestions to boost women success. Then, the DEI group will moderate a discussion with a panel of female grantees representing junior, intermediate, and experienced grant applicants/holders.

We hope our round table will give you the key to a successful grant application and will be an opportunity to discuss strategies to decrease gender bias during grant reviewing.

Come numerous and keep an eye on the Grant Finder! (VPN connection is required)
