On Friday, March 14, the Institut Pasteur will take part in UniStem Day 2025, an international event dedicated to stem cell research and scientific outreach. Held across Europe, UniStem Day aims to inspire high school students by sparking their curiosity and passion for science. Each year, it brings together thousands of students to explore cutting-edge research and engage with scientists. This year, 93 universities from 13 countries, including the Institut Pasteur, will join the initiative.

At our event, students will dive into the world of biomedical research through a dynamic program:

🔬 Talks by leading scientists – Elisa Gomez-Perdiguero (Institut Pasteur) will introduce the fundamentals of stem cells, while Walter Habeler (I-Stem) will discuss the potential of cell-based therapies.

🎤 Student presentations – Participants will step into the shoes of researchers, showcasing their projects through posters and oral presentations before a panel of experts.

🤝 Meet & exchange with scientists – Interactive discussions with researchers and staff will provide insights into careers in science and life in a research lab.

Through conferences, debates, and hands-on activities, students will not only deepen their scientific knowledge but also discover how perseverance, integrity, and creativity drive innovation.
