The Institut Pasteur Grants Office (GO) announces that its first Grants Impact Report (2019–2024) is now publicly available. More than a reporting exercise, this publication is designed as a strategic tool to demonstrate and promote the value of research funding at Institut Pasteur.

Based on a robust, data-driven analysis, the report provides a clear overview of grant activity, including submission trends, funding volumes, and success rates. It also goes further by documenting the broader impact of grants: their contribution to scientific publications, the number of positions supported, the collaborations they enable, and their role in fostering innovation and informing institutional practices.

By turning these dimensions into measurable and verifiable data, the report supports evidence-based discussions with funders, partners, and institutional stakeholders. It is therefore a concrete tool for advocacy, helping to better articulate the impact of funding on science and on the Institute.

Making this report publicly accessible also strengthens Institut Pasteur’s visibility. It highlights not only the importance of external funding, but also the Institute’s capacity to produce structured and reproducible impact analyses — an increasingly important expectation in the research landscape.

This first edition lays the groundwork for continued, data-driven monitoring of grant impact in line with the objectives of Pasteur 2030.

The report is avalaible here:
