Did you know? The Grants Office will soon publish a report on the impact of grants for the period 2019-2024

As part of an initiative sponsored by the Direction of Transformation and Strategic Projects (DTPS) and contributing to the objectives of the Institut Pasteur Strategic Plan, the Grants Office is working on a first report on the impact of grants on our institution. We will present financial data, as well as other indicators that go beyond the funding: scientific excellence, innovation, collaborations, policies and more. The aim is to have a clearer picture of the impact of grants to allow us to better advise our scientists and internal services on which funding opportunities offer strategic value.

Most of our data comes from GO databases, namely Grant Manager. We are collaborating with other internal services as well to have access to additional data.

However, for some indicators there is no better source for feedback than the PIs themselves. For this, we have developed a short survey (we are mindful of the administrative burden that already exists – the survey is just 10 questions and requires less than 5 minutes to complete). We’ve already reached out to PIs of major collaborative projects that finished between 2019 and 2024 (i.e. ERC or Gates Foundation). Now we’re requesting feedback from the entire scientific community.

If you held a grant that finished in 2019 or later*, please fill out the survey below.  Any kind of grant is welcome, including fellowships and regardless of your role (coordinator or partner).

*Feedback from grants that ended in 2025 is welcome. It will be used in the next edition of the report, which will cover the year 2025.
