Members of the ERC Scientific Council and evaluation panel and successful ERC Synergy laureates will share their experience and provide you with invaluable advice on how to succeed in this fierce competition.
The ERC Synergy grant is one of the most prestigious funding opportunities that allows researchers to address any ambitious research problem, that cannot be dealt with one team alone and requires the expertise of two-to-four research groups. Therefore, each PI in the Synergy project is equally important, indispensable, and irreplaceable in contrast to collaborative projects. Proposals are evaluated on the sole criterion of scientific excellence which takes on the additional meaning of outstanding intrinsic synergetic effect.
