EPR Maladies infectieuses émergentes « MIE » 

This PEPR focuses on emerging and infectious diseases.  

In 2024, a second call was launched, and 4 projects have been selected for funding for a total budget of 2.392M€.  

Institut Pasteur coordinates the following project: 

• ArboRetro (Breaking mosquito tolerance to arbovirus infections by manipulating retrotransposons): SALEH Carla (C*); LAMBRECHTS Louis (P*) 

Institut Pasteur is a partner in the following projects : 

• PReVix (Pandemic preparedness to Respiratory Virux X): CAUCHEMEZ Simon (P) 

• SURVI3 (Infections Respiratoires Virales Sévères en Réanimation : Approche Intégrative et Translationnelle pour la Préparation des Futures Ré-émergences et Emergences): Olivier SCHWARTZ (P) ; RAMEIX WELTI Marie-Anne (P) 

• ViroBrain (Impact of emerging viral infections on brain functions): DIAS DE MELO Guilherme(P) 

PEPR Systèmes Alimentaires, Microbiome et Santé – Appel à projets « SAMS » 

The PEPR SAMS combines the challenges of agricultural production while preserving the environment and promotes healthy and sustainable food. 

Institut Pasteur coordinates the following projects: 

• AddiMapping (Microbiota-Additives Interaction Mapping and Mechanisms for Personalized Nutrition in the Healthy and Diseased Populations): CHASSAING Benoit (C). 

• PGNshapingHOST (The role of microbiota-derived peptidoglycan in host physiology): GOMPERTS BONECA Ivo (C); CHASSAING Benoit (P); LECUIT Marc (P); EBERL Gérard (P); LLEDO Pierre-Marie (P); LEMICHEZ Emmanuel (P); MULARD Laurence (P).

• JEMINI (Integrative analysis of the interactions between the jejunal microbiota, the host and dietary factors in metabolic diseases): CHASSAING Benoit (P)

• CULTISSIMO (Shared CULTuromics platform to IncreaSe acceSs to the vast number of microorganisms, some yet uncultivated, to understand the key functIons and services to huMan ecosystem of MicrobiOmes): GOBAA Samy (P) 

• PREANALYTICS (Pre-analytics harmonization platform): CHASSAING Benoit (P).
