France 2030 Priority Research Program and Equipment (PEPR) PREZODE, launched in February 2023, aims to support interdisciplinary fundamental research projects that seek to better understand the links between human activities, global changes, and the mechanisms of zoonotic disease emergence.

PEPR PREZODE is divided into 4 workpackages (WP). The present call, which is also the 3rd and last call of this programme concerns, only WP 2 of PEPR PREZODE - the development of strategies to reduce the risk of zoonotic disease emergence.

More specifically, this call for projects (AAP) aims to cover the following 3 axes:

  • Axis 1: Identify risk and resilience factors that could be targeted by zoonosis prevention strategies.

  • Axis 2: Co-construct zoonosis prevention strategies and characterize their epidemiological, sociological, cultural and economic impact.

  • Axis 3: Understand the social and cultural factors that can bias or render ineffective prevention strategies and their evaluation

Expected projects should be part of the “one health” framework, through interdisciplinary approaches.

The call for projects will consist of a single-stage submission process and the deadline is on the 28/01/2025. Link to learn more.

Researchers interested in applying for this call are encouraged to contact the GO national team (gonational[at]pasteur.fr) for guidance and support throughout the application process. Our team can provide valuable insights and assistance to help strengthen your proposal.
