On June 16th, the 14th edition of the annual scientific symposium marked a significant milestone in the project’s history: for the first time in 15 years, this gathering was held on the campus of the École nationale vétérinaire d’Alfort (EnvA), thus reaffirming the One Health approach that has driven the teams since the creation of the Labex IBEID, in 2011.

This day brought together more than 130 scientists from the scientific community of the Labex IBEID (Institut Pasteur, Inserm, École nationale vétérinaire d'Alfort, Santé publique France and Anses) for several high-level sessions to explore the projects currently funded by IBEID. The speakers distinguished themselves through the quality of their presentations, the diversity of the themes addressed, and the richness of the discussions.

Established researchers, PhD
students, and G5 leaders who have become unit heads all contributed to making this edition a true melting pot of ideas and reflections.

Social moments also punctuated the day, with an outdoor lunch in the setting of this historic 18th-century campus, encouraging informal exchanges and inter-team encounters.

This interlude was followed by a guided tour of the Fragonard Museum, offering participants an immersion in the history of human and animal anatomy, a genuine heritage for the School.
See you next year for the 15th edition!
