The Grants Office organised a three-part workshop on Grant Writing to help young scientists draft compelling proposals and increase their chances at securing research funding. Participants learnt
how to dissect a call and find key elements required for the proposal;
bases of grant writing: pitfalls and how to match the funders’ expectations;
how to transform their ideas into a project: designing of the work; budget drafting.
It was the first time that the Grants Office was organising this kind of event on campus. This might be repeated in the future should there be a demand from Pasteur researchers.
