The French National Research Agency (ANR) enables researchers in French laboratories to easily engage in European and international programs such as Horizon Europe or NIH multi-partner calls. It has designed specific grants that can be a stepping stone to secure competitive funding from international funding agencies. The following two programs enable scientists working in French laboratories to submit, as coordinators, research projects to international collaborative calls, including Horizon Europe:

  • to support a coordinator applying to one-step or two-step international funding

  • 36K€ including 14.5% overheads

  • 12-page application

  • deadline: September 12th 2024

  • full call here

  • to support a coordinator applying to the second step of two-step international funding

  • 17K€ including 14.5% overheads

  • 4-page application

  • deadline is 15 calendar days from the announcement of step 1 results

  • Full call here

Funds from MRSEI and SRSEI can be used for consortium meetings and grant writing services, including from consulting firms.

If you wish to benefit from one of these grants, in preparation of your European or international grant applications, please contact gonational@pasteur.fr.
