Flashback on the ERC Roundtable 2025 edition

On June 17, the Grants Office hosted a fourth edition of its well-known ERC Roundtable. 

For one hour, recipients of prestigious European Research Council (ERC) funding, together with members of ERC review panels, shared their experiences and valuable advice to help future applicants maximize their chances of success. 

This year’s Roundtable featured an outstanding panel of speakers, including: 

• Seppo Ylä-Herttuala, pioneer and international leader in cardiovascular and malignant glioma gene therapy (University of Eastern Finland), three-time ERC Advanced Grant awardee and ERC Synergy panel member, 

• Charles Baroud, ERC Starting and Advanced Grants 

• Laura Cantini, ERC Starting Grant 

• Guillaume Dumenil, ERC Starting and Advanced Grants, ERC Consolidator Grant panel member, 

• Marc Lecuit, laureate of Starting, Consolidator and Proof of Concept Grants, ERC Starting Grant panel member, 

• Michael White, ERC Starting and Consolidator Grants 

• Maëlle Pichard, Head of EU Division, Grants Office 

• Ksenia Bagrintseva, Senior Grant Writer and ERC expert, Grants Office
