We are excited to announce the first European Federation of Immunological Societies (EFIS) Sex Differences in Immunity Congress, which will take place on the 23rd of October at Institut Pasteur. This congress is co-sponsored by the LabEx Milieu Interieur and will focus on how biological sex and gender impacts differential immune responses throughout life, a major focus of Axis 4 of the Pasteur 2030 strategic Plan.  

  


In addition to two keynote speakers (Dr. Kate Docking: social historian of medicine and gender in 20th century Europe & Prof. Petter Brodin: physician scientist and pioneer of systems immunology studies) there will be 14 talks from international speakers on topics covering Sex Differences in Translational Studies, Tissue Immunity, Infection & Vaccination, and in immunity throughout life. There will also be an interactive poster session over lunch and evening wine & cheese.  

  

Abstract submissions are now closed, but Pasteurians are welcome to participate in the meeting. The full agenda can be found here:
