Be ambitious: apply to NIH!

Prestigious grants do not only award funds for implementing your research ideas, but they can open doors to larger networks and enhance your scientific reputation.  

You have probably applied to ANR calls or participated in EU projects. But have you ever considered applying for an NIH grant? Let us explain why you should it a try!  

1. An NIH funding opportunity awaits you: thousands of opportunities are now available  

2. The multiple-deadline system allows you to take your time  

3. NIH encourages resubmission as necessary, so you can always improve your application 

4. You can consult with NIH staff for advice prior to submission (it is even highly recommended!) 

5. You’re not alone: the Grants Office will assist you at every step of the process.
