The French National Research Agency (ANR) has published the results of the first stage of its Generic Call for Projects 2025 (AAPG 2025).
The AAPG is ANR's main call and mobilizes 5 instruments: to fund individual research projects led by young researchers (JCJC), ambitious research projects led by a team (PRME), collaborative research projects between public entities in France (PRC) or bilateral international collaborations (PRCI), and between public and private entities with an opening to the business world (PRCE).
For Institut Pasteur, the results of stage 1 of the AAPG 2025, for the four national funding instruments, are broken down as follows:
- 75 PRC pre-proposals selected, out of 128 eligible pre-proposals submitted, for a selection rate of 58.6%;
- 7 PRME pre-proposals selected, out of 11 eligible pre-proposals submitted, for a selection rate of 63.6%;
- 7 JCJC pre-proposals selected, out of 14 eligible pre-proposals submitted, for a selection rate of 50%.
- 4 PRCE pre-proposals selected, out of 4 eligible pre-proposals submitted, i.e. a selection rate of 100%;
PRCI projects are not included, as they are evaluated differently. A total of 23 Pasteur projects have been selected.
Please note that ANR has not yet published the national results of the first stage.
The national division of the Grants Office has prepared various documents (budget template, guide, etc.) to support researchers in preparing and submitting their proposals to the step 2. They can be downloaded on ePasteur: Link
