ANR MRSEI 2026 Grant to prepare your European or international project

🎯 The opportunity at a glance 

Are you preparing a Horizon Europe, EDCTP or other international grant application? The French ANR helps you build and strengthen your consortium through the MRSEI scheme (Montage de Réseaux Scientifiques Européens ou Internationaux – Support for Building European or International Scientific Networks). 


Funding: up to 36,000€ over 24 months 


✅ Eligibility criteria 

✓ You coordinate a European/international collaborative project 

✓ The target call must be single-stage (no pre-proposal phase) 

✓ Target call deadline at least 5 months after MRSEI submission 

💡 What can MRSEI grant fund? 

  • Kick-off meetings with your European/international partners 

  • Travel to consolidate scientific collaborations 

  • Temporary support for proposal writing 

  • Consultant expertise to review your technical proposal (up to 10 000€)  

 

📅 Timeline – Wave 1/2026  

Opening 

March 17th, 2026  

Submission deadline 

May 19th, 2026 

Evaluation 

May-September 2026 

Project start 

End September 2026  

Second deadline 2026: September 1st, 2026 

Project start: End Novembre 2026 

 

🚀 New: Jeton MRSEI for French PI or scientific leads of FRAL or PRCI projects  

 

The ‘J-MRSEI’ programme 2026 is open to French principal investigators or scientific leads of FRAL or PRCI projects who wish to submit an ambitious, interdisciplinary project to a European or international call for proposals as project coordinator. 

 

 

Open until the end of the year
