To celebrate 15 years of research on Emerging Infectious Diseases, the Labex IBEID organizes an International Conference entitled Adapting to Change: Emerging Infectious Diseases in a Shifting Climate!

We are thrilled to invite you to join us in this crucial assembly of leading scientists from around the world. As one of the most important consortia about Emerging Infectious Diseases research in France, the IBEID Conference provides a platform for international scientific exchange and showcases the newest developments in global health and epidemiology, pathogens and vectors study, new therapies, vaccine development and related areas. This conference will be held at the Institut Pasteur, from October 16-18, 2024

Our conference is dedicated to addressing the current and emerging challenges of infectious diseases in a rapidly changing environment. Renowned scientists such as Sarah Gilbert, Adrian Hill, Peter Hotez and Manu Prakash, clinicians and healthcare professionals will convene to present their latest research, share valuable insights, and discuss strategies to combat infectious diseases. With a diverse range of thematic sessions, including keynote addresses, invited and selected short talks, and interactive poster sessions, participants will have the opportunity to engage deeply with topics that are shaping the future of global health.

Key themes this year include the evolution of pathogens, antimicrobial resistance, vaccine development, and the impact of climate change on disease transmission. We will also focus on innovative diagnostic tools, treatment strategies, and the role of global health policies in managing pandemics and other infectious disease threats.

Join us for three days of inspiring talks, collaborative discussions, and networking opportunities. Together, we can drive the progress needed to tackle the infectious disease challenges of today and tomorrow, ensuring a healthier future for all.
