After the success of the in-person event on NIH grants held last April, the Grants Office (GO) repeated the initiative this summer by organizing an online webinar on July 11, 2024.

NIH is the most important public funder of biomedical research in the world! It offers a large number of funding opportunities in all areas of biomedical research. Even though it is highly competitive, non-US researchers can obtain NIH funding, provided they receive the right support in addition to their scientific excellence.

During the webinar, the GO explained NIH's organization and unique aspects compared to other institutional funders. The NIH funding opportunities were discussed in relation to project type, objectives, research fields etc. The GO also presented the support available to applicants, shared tips from past applications, and introduced tools to assist investigators in preparing their submissions.

This summer course was organized on Teams to facilitate the participation of investigators. If you missed the webinar, you can watch the recording here: Summer course on NIH grants.

You will find all funding opportunities selected by the GO on the Grant Finder tool as well as in monthly updated calendars. Don’t hesitate to contact us at GOinternational[at]pasteur.fr, we will be more than happy to help!
