Last month, the Grants Office (GO) organized an introductory event on funding possibilities of the NIH, the most important public funder of biomedical research in the world!

The meeting was the opportunity to explain how NIH grants work and to demystify this type of funding, deemed to be very competitive and difficult to obtain. The multiple funding possibilities offered by the NIH were discussed and the specificities regarding other agencies, i.e. ANR or EC underlined. The support proposed by the GO to the investigators was presented as well as the available tools. The event was organized in person only, enabling the participants to meet the GO members and to enjoy a warm and fruitful discussion. After a 30 min presentation, the participants were able to ask their questions, and to talk both to the GO and to the other researchers, sharing experiences.

If you were unable to attend, don't worry, a remote NIH event will be planned this summer, we will keep you informed.

And don’t forget, you will find funding opportunities, including NIH, on the Grant Finder tool as well as in monthly updated calendars.
